Competitors presented themselves in various kata, demonstrating a high level of knowledge, precision, coordination and understanding of judo techniques. The championship was an excellent opportunity to showcase the technical excellence, focus and dedicated work required in kata practice.

The event also crowned new national kata champions, whose performances confirmed the quality of work being done in clubs and the importance of regular and systematic training in this area of judo.
A special part of the championship was the participation of inclusive judoka, who competed in adapted kata. With their performances, they showed that judo connects, includes and enables progress for every individual.

For the first time, a new form of kata called ENBU was also presented. In this format, instead of a pair, a group of judoka performs the kata together. The presentation brought an interesting novelty and additional variety to the programme of the national championship.
The event attracted numerous judo enthusiasts, coaches, competitors and supporters to Ljubljana, together creating a pleasant sporting atmosphere.

We sincerely congratulate all participants on their performances, and the new national champions on their titles. We also thank the organisers for the successful execution of the National Kata Championships.
